Digital Trade Method Connects Pupils Across the Planet

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when virtual learning became the norm, the San Diego County Place of work of Instruction (SDCOE) and the Schooling Office environment of the Consulate of Spain came together to generate a virtual exchange application for college students. 

Connecting younger people today throughout the world, the Dos Orillas Intercultural Exchange Plan partnered universities in San Diego County with educational facilities in Spain to offer learners and lecturers with reliable opportunities for significant conversation and collaboration in planet languages. 

In the 2020-21 university calendar year, far more than 1,100 college students with 38 academics participated in this linguistic, cultural, and instructional trade.

The Dos Orillas Intercultural Trade Plan aims to increase intercultural comprehending and world competence and boost engagement and conversation.
